The Alarius Imperium, or Allied Empire, as it's name is intended to mean is an organization of gamers with a few goals in mind. Fun, immersion, and support through complex strategical operations. To achieve these goals we employ a hierarchical ranking system in conjunction with unit designations and groupings within the association. This allows our members to take part in many different activities, from organizing group events, meetings, and PvP engagements, to designing their own groups within the Imperium that are tailored to their own personal image. We are currently operating in the realm of Agon and have several members active in-game despite what's effectively been a lockout. Ranking SystemThe ranks in the Alarius Imperium are as follows. Judicator(also known as the Judicator caste): This rank is the highest rank in the Imperium. It will be six members in size at a maximum, and currently consists of the Alarius Imperium's three founding members, and an old very well proven comrade of my own; Shock(myself), Static, Spark, and Stabula. The members of this caste are the main governing body of the Alarius Imperium, and act as representatives of large units that are delegated to them for organizational purposes. As an important note. All of the following ranks are considered the Templar caste of the Imperium.Executor: This is the second highest rank one can achieve in the Alarius Imperium. Only the most active and dedicated members will be granted this position. It requires great responsibility, leadership, and maturity to be a successful Executor. Preator: The third highest rank one can achieve. This rank requires a high amount of active participation on the part of the member that bears it. This is due to being in command of multiple groups, with varying playstyles, therefore creating a need for regular leadership over casual leadership. Prelate: The first attainable officer rank in the Alarius Imperium. It requires a moderate to low amount of active available play time in whatever game that we currently exist. The required play time is based upon the style of play the members in this officer's unit tend to enjoy the most. Templar: The basic Templar is the starting point where all fresh recruits to the association will begin. It is also the place where the most casual players will want to be. Perfectly capable of attaining respect(as well as command without responsibility), the Templar is the position for the player that wants to mix it up, but does not have the time to game on a regular basis, nor care for the burden of responsibility. Unit DesignationsThe following are organizational units within the Alarius Imperium. Each player is assigned one upon joining our assocation. The new recruit's responsibilities to their unit are very light, in order to accommodate casual play styles. These units can also carry names, as well as signifying uniforms or colors designed by their commanding officers. The only unit members can currently join is our founding unit, Alpha Company. Company: The company is the largest cohesive unit within the Imperium. It will consist of 2-3 platoons. The company will be commanded by an executor Platoon: The platoon is the second largest cohesive unit within the Imperium. It will consist of 2-3 squads. The platoon will be commanded by a Preator. Squad: The squad is the smallest unit within the Imperium. It will consist of a maximum of 5 players. The squad will be commanded by a Prelate. In summary. When Alpha Company reaches near maximum capacity it will consist of 3 platoons, and in each platoon there will be 3 squads. Each of those squads will have 5 members, so Alpha Company will be roughly 49 players large, including commanding officers. Once this goal is reached, an outstanding member will be chosen from Alpha Company to branch off and design a new company, using their own vision and ingenuity. Therein lies the beauty of the organizational principles to be employed by the Alarius Imperium. General InformationThe organization consists of the three allied races of Human, Dwarves, and Mirdain. We may look into becoming an ARAC guild in the future, but this is currently how we will operate. |
